Lisa - owner of Transition Counselling

Lisa Moore
Founder of Transitions Counselling & Crossroads Collective

Transitions Counselling Centre’s mission is to help people heal and grow through periods of transitions in their lives. Many of us experience loss, grief, unhappiness or a sense of loss when we transition from one role to another in our daily lives. Some of us lose people we love, dreams we can no longer achieve, changes in careers, the diagnosis of a child with special needs, a loved one entering Long Term Care, or who is ailing in health, Divorce from a spouse, the beginning of a new marriage, perhaps with a blended family.

Transitions counselling can help you walk through the various transitions in your life and through its network of extensive resources in the community can help clients access group therapy, various workshops, access to government agencies, access to third party funding and charities and non-profit organizations.

If schedule is full, please call me to book an appointment!

Lisa Moore has been wonderful in helping our family through the recent diagnosis of Down’s Syndrome before our child was born, throughout the process once we brought our baby home and helping us navigate the government system and accessing resources, funding and continued support.

I find the parking really easy and the office is clean and tidy and private. I really like being able to book appointments on line. I met with Lisa and she was really personable and easy to talk to. I have already recommended friends. It’s great to have this great resource in our neighbourhood.

Lisa is a warm and empathetic therapist. She was great at making connections and helping me see a different perspective. She inspired me to make large changes in my life and I am so much happier now that I have the confidence to be the person I was always meant to be. I can’t thank her enough for walking my journey with me. I highly recommend her as a therapist.

My experience with Transitions Counselling was wonderful! The space was beautiful and very inviting. You can tell a lot of hard work went into the office. The staff are very prosfessional and warm. I would recommend crossroads to everyone!
